Special Delivery 4 Kids

The idea for Special Delivery 4 Kids came to me, when I was six months pregnant with my youngest daughter, Sarah; I was preparing for a business trip to California. While I was excited to go, I was so upset because I knew that I would be away from my oldest daughter, Sophia. I decided that I would make each day that I would be gone special by sending her a special present each day to open until I returned home.

So there I was running from store to store trying to find fun, small gifts (crafts, stickers, etc.) to send Sophia in the mail. I thought that the time would pass faster if she received a present and a note from me each day. But little did I know that this shopping adventure would make me so tired (of course being pregnant didn’t make the task easy). Running from store to store, wrapping each present, writing a note and finally waiting on line at the Post Office was very tiresome! I thought that there had to be an easier way to send Sophia a little love in the mail!

That’s when I realized, there are many other “time starved” Moms, Dads and “out of town” Grandparents that would also want to fill their special kid’s mailbox with love. Knowing how much children love to craft, color, help cook, decorate with stickers and receive a letter addressed just to them all contributed to the idea of my new business venture. Not to mention, since my trip to California, Sophia will ask … everyday if she has mail!

It is my goal to bring smiles to the faces of little kids and hopefully to make gift-giving a little easier and more creative for parents, grandparents, and anyone with a special little someone in their life.
